This is where I explore the messy, fascinating intersection of technology and humanity — from how Instagram might be altering your brain to crypto's potential for economic freedom to building software that makes clinical research less terrible for humans. I build, write, and research at the edge of the humanities and science, searching for things that make life better and figuring out how to scale them so more people have access. Software is often the mechanism, but not always. Think of these blog posts as conversation starters that could indeed salvage a terrible date at the state fair — if your date happens to be into brain/mind interfaces, the psychology of new media, or why we need better tools for human flourishing.
